My name is Bella Talerico and I have the pleasure of serving as this year’s Chapter President for Sigma Kappa Theta Xi here at Auburn University. I was born and raised in a small town right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before I came to Auburn for college. As many of you know, college life is a major adjustment, and it is my main goal that joining our sorority will make that transition seamless. As a member of our organization, you will be provided with leadership opportunities, academic support, networking and professional development tools, and a home away from home. It is my hope and prayer that we are able to create a strong support system for our members as they navigate through their first semester of college and beyond.

   Sigma Kappa has become my family and my “home away from home”. Our leadership team is an Executive Board made up of myself and eleven other officers. Our Executive Council works as a team to continuously better our chapter with various goals. Our biggest and most prominent goal is to ensure the growth of our members.

   Lastly, as the Chapter President I would also like to assure you that I will do everything I can to ensure both the happiness and well-being of our members. Our chapter works closely with and follows the rules set forth by Auburn University, the National Panhellenic Council, and the Auburn Panhellenic Council to ensure the safety of our members. We are additionally governed by our own national and chapter policies, which are available through our online chapter website.
